Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins, also known as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins in the United States as well as Mexico, is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She anchors SportsNation and serves as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She began her career at ESPN in the year of 2016. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a TV reporter. Antonietta is native to two languages. Since she was nine years old, her ability to speak two languages has allowed her to get a job in Miami as a production assistant for Univision. The same job was held as a sports anchor for Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo on the UniMas Network. Antonietta's parents are from Veracruz Mexico. Eventually, they settled in Mexico City and she was born there on the 22nd of November, 1985. She is more mature than her younger sister. She has an older sister. They divorced shortly thereafter and her mother remarried an architect from the naval profession known as Fabio Fajardo who died from kidney cancer in the year 2006. When on vacation Antonietta was staying at her sister's house in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sister had just landed the job of his dreams. Antonietta who was in high school having a clear idea of where she would like her life to be, visited Mount Union University to determine what she could get out of the college. It was a beautiful campus and offered the degree she wanted. When she completed her high school education she enrolled in the University to pursue media studies. She developed a long-lasting relationship with her teacher Mark Bergmann who was the supervisor of WRMU 91.1 FM of which she was a part. Mark Bergmann was the person who instilled her confidence and whose passion for Journalism deeply touched her. In turn, she was determined to exceed his expectations, never letting him down.
