Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins, also known as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins in the United States as well as Mexico, is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She anchors SportsNation and serves as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She began her career at ESPN in the year of 2016. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a TV reporter. Antonietta is native to two languages. Since she was nine years old, her ability to speak two languages has allowed her to get a job in Miami as a production assistant for Univision. In her position, she had the opportunity to be a part of national show producers such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. The next position she was offered was reporter for sports at The CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. She moved from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to become a reporter at one of the Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. In 2009, she moved into Rio Grande Valley, Texas, where she became a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. Also, she would fill in occasionally as a weather and sports anchor. She then anchored and reported on Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was given more responsibilities. She wrote pieces for the NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. She also produced Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra and was the anchor. She was hired as sports anchor for Despierta America Deportes for their morning program. The same job was held as a sports anchor for Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo on the UniMas Network. Antonietta's parents are from Veracruz Mexico. Eventually, they settled in Mexico City and she was born there on the 22nd of November, 1985. She is more mature than her younger sister. She has an older sister. They divorced shortly thereafter and her mother remarried an architect from the naval profession known as Fabio Fajardo who died from kidney cancer in the year 2006. When on vacation Antonietta was staying at her sister's house in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sister had just landed the job of his dreams. Antonietta who was in high school having a clear idea of where she would like her life to be, visited Mount Union University to determine what she could get out of the college. It was a beautiful campus and offered the degree she wanted. When she completed her high school education she enrolled in the University to pursue media studies. She developed a long-lasting relationship with her teacher Mark Bergmann who was the supervisor of WRMU 91.1 FM of which she was a part. Mark Bergmann was the person who instilled her confidence and whose passion for Journalism deeply touched her. In turn, she was determined to exceed his expectations, never letting him down.
